(Oral) 1 Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari, for quashing the proceedings initiated by the respondents for eviction of the petitioner from land measuring 80 kanals, situated at village Hadiwal, Tehsil and District Ludhiana, by way of instituting a petition under Sections 4 and 5 of the Punjab Public Premises and Land (Eviction and Rent Recovery) Act, 1973. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of present writ petition, an eviction order has been passed against the petitioner, therefore, he may be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail his remedies against the eviction order, in accordance with law. 3.
