This petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS for anticipatory bail in case FIR No.72 dated 02.08.2024 registered against her, u/s 306 BNS, 2023 at Police Station Phase-8, District SAS Nagar, Mohali. 2. This Court, vide order dated 24.03.2026, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.). 3. On the last date of hearing i.e. 10.04.2026, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner could not join the investigation in compliance of the aforesaid order.
