The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant her pay scale and allowances as per Punjab Educational (Teaching Cadre) Group-C Service Rules, 2018 i.e. Rs.10300-34800 + Rs.5000 Grade Pay, initial pay: Rs.18450/-, along with all allowances applicable under the 5th Punjab Pay Scale Matrix, with further revisions, in view of the judgment of this Court in CWP-15896-2023 titled as ‘Saurabh Sharma and others Vs. State of Punjab and others’ decided on 13.09.2024 and instructions dated 05.01.2026 (P-1) as well as for payment of arrears of salary along with interest. 2.
