Through the instant writ petition, the petitioner assails the order dated 25.04.1994 passed by the Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner, Haryana, under Section 7-A of the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 (hereinafter referred to as “the EPF Act”) and the Schemes framed thereunder, as well as the order dated 11.11.2025 passed by the Central Government Industrial Tribunal, Chandigarh, whereby the appeal preferred under Section 7-I of the EPF Act was dismissed as being barred by limitation. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, although the original order under Section 7-A of the EPF Act, assessing an amount of Rs.12,74,268/- as payable by the petitioner, was passed on 25.04.1994, the statutory appeal thereagainst under Section 7-I of the EPF Act was preferred pursuant to and in compliance with the liberty granted by thi
