(ORAL) The prayer in the present petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to to produce the detenue-Anu, aged 17 years wife of the petitioner before this Court. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that, initially, the alleged detenue-Anu wife of the petitioner had been sent to Snehalaya, Sector 15, Chandigarh as she was a minor. Now she is a major and therefore, she be allowed to accompany the petitioner-Inderjeet who is her husband. 3. The learned counsel for the State contends that, though, the detenue-Anu was a minor at the time when the instant petition was filed, she has now turned major and this Court may pass appropriate orders.
