(ORAL) The short prayer made on behalf of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for issuance of directions to respondents for release of arrears of annuity to the petitioner-landowner for the years 2021-22, 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26. Upon advance notice, respondent No.4 i.e. DRO-cum-Land Acquisition Collector has joined proceedings through whatsapp call and informs that arrears of annuity could not be paid as necessary funds were not available. He also informs that repeated reminders dated 27.12.2024, 25.07.2025 and 29.04.2026 were written by office of respondent No.4 to respondent No.2 and respondent No.4 was religiously following the matter and as soon as the payment was released by office of respondent No.2, the same shall be released to the petitioner.
