The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.222 dated 22.11.2025 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 307 and 3(5) of BNS 2023 (Sections 382 and 34 of IPC), registered at Police Station Kamboj, District Amritsar (Rural) alongwith all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 07.03.2026 (Annexure P-2). 2. This Court while issuing notice of motion vide order dated 22.04.2026, had directed the parties to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate for recording their statements with regard to the compromise. 3. Pursuant to the aforesaid order, report dated 16.05.2026 has been received from the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar.
