J. 1. This is a petition under Section 528 of the ‘Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023’, hereinafter being referred to as “BNSS”. The order dated 12.05.2026 passed the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, hereinafter being referred to as trial Court, has been impugned by virtue of present petition. The petitioner is seeking quashing of above-mentioned order. 2. In nut-shell the facts emerging from record are that a trial for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 307, 379, 323, 324, 452, 506, 148, 149 and Sections 25, 27 of Arms Act, vide FIR No.194 dated 20.08.2017 Police Station Sadar Ludhiana, is in progress before the learned trial Court.
