In the present writ petition, the petitioners are praying for issuance of a direction to the respondents to count the daily wage period of petitioners while working as Special Police Officer (SPO) before regularization of their service as qualifying service for the purpose of pensionary/retiral benefits. Reliance is made to the judgment passed by this Court in CWP No.9936 of 2017, titled as “Sukhjeet Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and others”, decided on 15.02.2018. 2.
