The present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing communication dated 08.08.2024 (Annexure P-4), whereby the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment has been rejected on the ground that the services of her deceased husband were not regularized. The petitioner further seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and grant compassionate appointment by treating the services rendered by the deceased husband as regular in substance.
