Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner was arrayed as an accused in the instant FIR solely on the basis of the disclosure statement made by co-accused Swaran Singh, from whose possession the alleged contraband i.e. 242 kg of poppy husk was recovered.
