Present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking grant of regular bail in case FIR No.41 dated 12.05.2025, registered under Sections 18, 27, 29, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Ghagga, District Patiala. 2. As per the case of the prosecution, while the police party was on patrolling duty, a secret information was received to the effect that accused namely Amarjit Singh, Harnamjit Singh and Harpreet Singh(petitioner herein) were involved in smuggling of opium in various areas of the State of Punjab after procuring the same in large quantity from other States.
