(482 of BNSS, 2023) for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in Case FIR No. 117, Dated 19.08.2025 under Sections 15 and 29 the NDPS Act 1985, Police Station Moonak District Sangrur. 2. As per the prosecution case, the present FIR was registered against accused Hamesh Kumar @ Mintu and Hardeep @ Mugri on the basis of secret information that they were habitually engaged in selling poppy husk by procuring it from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Acting on the said information, the police conducted a naka, which led to the recovery of 15 bags containing 300 kilograms of poppy husk from an XUV car being driven by accused Hamesh Kumar @ Mintu, while co-accused Hardeep @ Mugri was seated beside him.
