The petitioners have filed the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioners, who have been continuously working for more than 10 years in the Transport Department, Punjab, as Data Entry Operator in view of the judgment passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court in Jaggo Vs. Union of India and others : AIR 2025 SC 296 and to grant them all consequential benefits. Further, to grant equal pay scale along with other benefits to the petitioners till they are regularized as are being given from time to time to similarly situated employees who are working against regular post. 2.
