The petitioners have filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the benefit of ACP Scheme (4/9/14 years) to the petitioners, as framed vide Notification dated 03.11.2006 (Annexure P-2), along with the consequential benefits like re-fixation of pay, arrears etc. with interest @ 18% per annum. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to file separate petitions on the same cause of action with better particulars on behalf of the petitioners who have already been retired from service and who are still in service. 3.
