This petition has been preferred by the petitioner under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 (erstwhile Section 482 Cr.P.C.), seeking quashing of the order dated 28.05.2025 (Annexure P-6) passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Mansa in case FIR No.135 dated 02.08.2022, registered under Section 379B, 34 IPC (now Sections 304 and 3(5) of BNS, 2023), at Police Station Bhikhi, Mansa (Annexure P-1) whereby the bail bonds of the petitioner were cancelled and non-bailable warrants were issued against him. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the trial Court has erred in cancelling the bail and forfeiting the bail bonds of the petitioner as no prior notice or an opportunity of hearing was granted to him.
