In the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order of dismissal dated 24.12.2019 (Annexure P-3) as well as the Appellate order dated 22.09.2023 (Annexure P-4), whereby the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the dismissal order dated 24.12.2019 (Annexure P-3) was rejected by the respondents. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that as the petitioner has been acquitted by the Competent Court, he is entitled for reinstatement along with all the consequential retiral benefits. Learned counsel further submits that after passing of the impugned orders, the petitioner also served a legal notice dated 25.02.2026 (Annexure P-7) notice seeking notional reinstatement and release of retiral benefits.
