This is a petition filed under Section 528 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, for quashing of FIR No.64, dated 20.04.2017, under Sections 336, 324, 34 IPC, registered at PS Ajnala, District Amritsar (Rural), (Annexure P-1) and subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 17.09.2025 (Annexure P-2). 2. This Court vide orders dated 17.10.2025, 12.12.2025 and 28.04.2026 had directed the parties to appear before the Illaqa/Duty Magistrate to get their statements recorded and the learned Magistrate was directed to send its report qua the genuineness of the compromise. 3.
