Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of writ in the nature of habeas corpus to set free the detenue namely, Gaganmeet Kaur daughter of the petitioner, from the illegal custody of respondents No.4 to 8 and his other family members. 2. It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the alleged detenue, namely, Gaganmeet Kaur, has been illegally kept by respondents No.4 to 8. 3. This Court had issued notice and directed the State to produce the detenue. Detenue-Gaganmeet Kaur is present in the Court. This Court has interacted with her. On asking, she has submitted before this Court that her date of birth is 15.08.2007 and being 19 years of age, she is of the age of majority.
