The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release the balance payments amounting to Rs.29,000,50/- pertaining to leave encashment and gratuity along with interest @ 12% per annum from the due date till the date of realization which has been withheld without any lawful justification and also interest @ 12% per annum on the delayed payment of leave encashment and commuted pension amounting to Rs.14,51,650/- & Rs.35,25,866/-, respectively. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of his grievances, the petitioner has also served legal notice dated 28.05.2025 (Annexure P-10) to the respondents which is still pending consideration. He further submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied, if appropriate directio
