The present petition has been preferred under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, assailing the impugned order dated 06.03.2026 (Annexure P-3), whereby the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Patiala has declared the petitioner as a proclaimed offender. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that FIR No.106 dated 04.11.2016 u/s 307, 452, 148, 149, 506 IPC was registered at P.S. Ghagga, District Patiala against the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner was regularly appearing before trial court but later absented himself on 29.08.2025 and him non bailable warrants were issued. His absence ultimately resulted in him being declared proclaimed offender vide order dated 06.03.2026 (Annexure P-3). 3. He further argued that petitioner was never served with any notice/warrant.
