The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short - ‘the BNSS’) for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.35 dated 08.04.2025, under Sections 21 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short - ‘the NDPS Act’), registered at Police Station Kulgari, District Ferozepur. 2. In the present case, co-accused, namely, Arshdeep Singh @ Arsh and Sunny were apprehended with 1 kilogram and 13 grams of heroin and the petitioner was nominated in the present case on the basis of disclosure statement made by both the aforementioned co-accused stating that the recovered contraband belongs to the petitioner. 3.
