The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate basis in the respondent-department as the petitioner's claim has been kept pending for more than 3 ½ years despite submission of all requisite documents. 2. After arguing the case for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to file a fresh one on the same cause of action with better particulars. 3.
