The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 for quashing of order dated 15.12.2025 Annexure P-1 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Sangrur, whereby the petitioner has been directed to deposit 20% of the compensation amount as a condition of suspension of sentence. 2. Learned counsel submits that the similar case filed by the petitioner was disposed of vide order dated 19.02.2026, directing the learned Appellate Court to reconsider the matter afresh. He submits that the sentence of the petitioner was suspended vide order dated 15.12.2025, subject to the condition that he will deposit 20% of the compensation amount within a period of 60 days in view of Section 138 of the NI Act.
