On 22.05.2026, this Court had passed the following order:- “Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is working as a travel agent and had helped the complainant to get student visa for a College in Russia, consequent whereto the latter travelled there, but it was found that the College was closed and on account of non-extension of visa, he was deported back to India. Further, receipt of the amount that was deposited by the petitioner has also been appended as Annexure P-3, alongwith visa Annexure P-2. He is ready and willing to join the investigation as and when required by the investigating agency and will cooperate. Notice of motion. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Manipal Singh Atwal, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation on or before 26.05.2026.
