By way of filing the present petition, the petitioner-wife is seeking transfer of petition filed by respondent-husband under Section 10 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (for short-‘the Act’) bearing No. DMC/8/2023 (Annexure P-2) titled as ‘Sukhwinder Singh vs. Gurpreet Kaur’ pending before the learned Family Court, Dasuya to a Court of competent jurisdiction at Jalandhar. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, submits that:- i) Marriage of the petitioner with the respondent was solemnized on 19.05.2023. ii) No child was born out of the wedlock. iii) Due to matrimonial discord the parties are living separately since 10.10.2023. iv) The petitioner has no source of income and is fully dependent upon her parents.
