Mr. Gagandeep Singh Sirphikhi, Advocate for respondents No. 2 and 3. *** MANISHA BATRA, J (ORAL):- The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short-‘BNSS’) for quashing of GD No. 47 dated 24.10.2025 registered under Sections 299 and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNS’) in FIR No. 317 dated 22.10.2025 registered under Sections 221, 132, 127(2), 303(2) and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNS’) at Police Station Civil Lines Batala, District Batala and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 19.01.2026 (Annexure P-3). 2. This Court vide order dated 06.04.2026 had directed the parties to appear before the trial Court to get their statements recorded and the learned Magistrate was
