Prayer in the present petition is for quashing the FIR No.268 dated 21.08.2023, under Sections 148, 149, 323, 324, 506 of the IPC, 1860 (later added on Sections 307, 326, 201 of IPC and Sections 25, 54, 59 of the Arms Act), registered at Police Station Ram Nagar, District Karnal, on the basis of compromise deed/settlement deed dated 21.04.2026 (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned State counsel, at the outset, submits that out of 27 prosecution witnesses, 12 witnesses have already been examined. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to the petitioners to pursue their alternative remedies before the trial Court. 4. Allowed as prayed for.
