The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to reimburse the entire service benefits during the period from 01.07.1991 to 19.01.2006 along with upto date interest. 2. The petitioner was dismissed from service, vide order dated 13.09.2012 on account of the prolonged absence from duty. The said dismissal order has not been challenged by the petitioner. 3. Learned State counsel submits that the due GPF amount of the petitioner has already been released to the petitioner and since he has already been dismissed from service, therefore, he is not entitled for any other retiral dues. 4.
