Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 483 BNSS is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.271 dated 02.12.2022, under Section 306 of IPC (Section 108 of BNS) registered at Police Station State Sadar Samana, District Patiala. 2. Learned Senior Counsel contends that the petitioner has been in custody for the last 21 days. Although he was named in the FIR but during investigation, he was found innocent and was put in column No.2 of the final report. However, on an application filed under Section 319 Cr.P.C., he has been summoned as an additional accused; no role is attributed to him; challan already stands presented on 02.01.2024; charges against him are yet to be framed; not involved in any other case. 3.
