(Oral) The present revision petition has been filed against the judgment dated 03.01.2026 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Hoshiarpur vide which the appeal preferred by the accused-petitioner against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 31.07.2018 passed by the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Hoshiarpur has been partly allowed. 2. The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner came to be convicted and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment under Section 420 IPC for a period of 02 (two) years and to pay fine of Rs.5,000/- and in default of payment of fine to further undergo simple imprisonment for a period of 01 (one) month and also sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment under Section 406 IPC for a period of 01 (one year).
