In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the gratuity and full pension along with interest to the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.03.2022. He submits that merely on the basis of registration of an FIR, the respondents could not have withheld the gratuity and 20% pension of the petitioner, as there was no charge framed against the petitioner in the criminal proceedings. He further submits that a cancellation report has also been filed by the police. Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if at this stage, a direction is given to RAMANDEEP SINGH
