This petition has been filed with regard to a case arising out of FIR No.274 dated 31.10.2025 for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 21, 23 [Section 29 added later on] of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Police Station Lopoke, District Amritsar. 2. Briefly stating the facts emerging from record are that the FIR of this case came into being in the backdrop of the fact that on 31.10.2025, the officials of Border Security Force recovered a suspicious packet lying in the agricultural fields in the border area.
