The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the unpaid retiral benefit such as gratuity, leave encashment, furlough leave and also to pay the arrears of pay fixation from 01.01.2016 to 30.06.2021 as per notification dated 18.02.2025 (Annexure P-8) arrears along with 12% interest on account of delay in payment of retiral benefits from the date of superannuation. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for redressal of their grievances, the petitioners have served a legal notice dated 27.02.2026 (Annexure P-11) to the respondents which is still pending consideration.
