The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita with a prayer to grant regular bail to him in case FIR No.254 dated 29.09.2025, registered under Sections 21, 27-A, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 Act, Police Station Jandiala, District Amritsar. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the recovery of 9.90 grams of heroin was allegedly effected from Lovepreet Singh @ Kaku and Jobanjit Singh, both co-accused. He further submits that the petitioner was named in the FIR only on the basis of suspicion and he was not present at the place of alleged recovery.
