The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking quashing of FIR No.0348 dated 08.12.2022 under Sections 307, 323, 506, 34 IPC and 25, 27 of Arms Act registered at Police Station, Civil Line, Amritsar (Annexure P-1) and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on basis of compromise deed dated 30.01.2023 (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the FIR is outcome of a sudden quarrel without any pre-meditation. It is submitted that the dispute between the parties has now been resolved and with the intervention of the respectables of the Society, the matter has indeed been compromised.
