The present second petition under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner seeking regular bail in FIR No.226 dated 15.11.2024 registered under Section 15 of the NDPS Act (later on added Sections 25, 27-A, 29, 31, 61 and 85 of NDPS Act, 1985 and Sections 25, 25(1)(b), 54 and 59 of Arms Act, 1959) at Police Station Sadar Jalandhar, District Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar, Punjab. 2. The prosecution case, as emerging from the record, is that acting upon secret information, the police on 15.11.2024 at about 12:05 AM, intercepted certain vehicles and recovered a commercial quantity of poppy husk i.e. 15 quintals and 40 kgs from accused Guravtar Singh Tari, Des Raj and Daler Singh.
