This is the first petition under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 439 Cr.P.C.) for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.04 dated 04.01.2026 registered under Sections 115(2), 127 and 3(5) of the BNS (Sections 118(1) and 118(2) BNS added later on) (corresponding Sections 323, 340, 34, 324 and 326 IPC, lodged at Police Station Division No.8, District Jalandhar. 2. Brief facts of the case are that the present FIR was registered on the statement of Harsh, who alleged that on 22.12.2025 at about 8.30/9.00 p.m., while he along with his friend Charanjit Singh had gone to a mobile shop, he was attacked by Suhel, Gaurav (present petitioner) and 4-5 other unknown persons.
