The prayer in the instant criminal writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing official respondents to execute order dated 11.08.2023 (Annexure P-2) passed in complaint No. NACT/302/2020 and to take effective steps to arrest respondent No.5/accused-Tejinder Singh, who was declared as proclaimed person. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that respondent No.5/accused-Tejinder Singh is declared as proclaimed offender vide order dated 11.08.2023 (Annexure P-2) i.e. approximately more than two and half years back and in this regard, intimation was also sent to the SHO, Phase-11, SAS Nagar (respondent No.4), but till date no action has been taken thereon. 3.
