In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a direction to the respondents to consider and re-fix the inter-se seniority of the petitioner amongst other constables/promoted employees of Haryana Police in the General Cadre with effect from the year 2008, when the petitioner became eligible for the B-1 test, in accordance with the Punjab Police (Haryana Second Amendment) Rules, 2015. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice dated 01.11.2025 (Annexure P-5) served by the petitioner, in a time bound manner.
