In the present writ petition, the petitioners have challenged the order dated 05.05.2026 (Annexure P-5) passed by respondent No.2 vide which, the claim of the petitioners for permanent absorption in District Police (General Cadre) as per the Haryana Police (Permanent Absorption of India Reserve Battalion's Police Personnel in District Police General Cadre Rules, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as '2024 Rules') has not been considered as no vacancy was notified and it was observed therein that the same would be considered as soon as the draft of Haryana Indian Reserve Police Service Rules, 2026 are notified and recruitment process in IRBs is completed. 2.
