The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of an appropriate writ for issuance of directions against the action of the respondents in stalling the benefit of Career Advancement Scheme as per the UGC and consequential benefits thereof by granting extension/exemption in requisite courses on parity with exactly similarly placed Govt. aided college lecturers as allowed in CWP No.6739 of 2014 titled as ‘Ashok Kumar and others Vs. State of Punjab and others’ and other connected matters decided on 17.01.2019 (Annexure P-1), which has been upheld by the Division Bench of this Court in LPA No.475 of 2022 titled as ‘State of Punjab and others Vs. Ashok Kumar and others’ and other connected LPAs decided on 12.12.2023 (Annexure P-2) and by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in SLP (Civil) Diary No(s
