The present contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of order dated 24.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by the Writ Curt in CWP-19258-2024 titled as ‘Dr. Gita Rani vs. Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa and others’ whereby the said writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take final decision qua promotion of the petitioner to the post of Professor within a period of 02 months from the date of said order. 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the respondents submits that in compliance of the Writ Court order dated 24.04.2025 (Annexure P-1), the petitioner stands promoted as Professor vide order dated 25.03.2026 and she has also joined as Professor. 3.
