The present petition has been filed for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 for taking necessary steps against respondent No.5, who is implicating the petitioner in the series of cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Act, 1985. 2. It is submitted by the learned State counsel that for redressal of his dispute the petitioner had already moved a representation before the Director General of Police, Punjab which was marked to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Khanna. It is further submitted that despite notices having been issued, the petitioner failed to join the enquiry proceedings, and consequently, the representation has since been decided. 3. In view of the submissions made by learned State counsel, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition and the same is accordingly dismissed. 4. Pending application(s
