By way of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in case bearing FIR No.272 dated 29.12.2025, registered under Sections 21-B, 61 and 85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short - ‘the NDPS Act’) at Police Station Chheharta, District Amritsar. 2. Briefly stated that that the allegation qua the present petitioner is that he was apprehended at the spot and 06 grams of heroin was recovered from his conscious possession. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for concession of bail to the petitioner on the following grounds: i. Petitioner is in custody for more than 4 ½ months; ii.
