This is the first petition filed under Section 482 BNSS (438 CrP.C.) for the grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 0021 dated 13.03.2026 u/s 22, 29 NDPS Act, Police Station Rureke Kalan, District Barnala. 2. Succinctly stated, as per the prosecution version, on 13.03.2026, HC Simarjeet Singh along with other police officials was present at Bus Stand, Village Rureke Kalan for patrolling and checking of suspicious persons. At about 04:10 P.M., he received a secret information that Navdeep Singh @ Lavi was involved in selling intoxicant tablets in the area of Village Rureke Kalan and Village Dhurkot and could be apprehended red-handed. Acting upon the said information, a ruga was sent to the Police Station for registration of FIR under Section 22 of the NDPS Act. Thereafter, the police POONAM NEGI 2026.05.
