Instant petition has been filed for directing the respondents to grant the benefit of arrears and consequential service benefits to the petitioners and they be regularised as per Punjab Government policy dated 23.01.2001 (Annexure P-4) and as per the 2016 Act and grant regular pay scale from the date of appointment and to grant the benefit as per judgment of this Court dated 26.02.2024, passed in CWP-19238 of 2013 – Amrish Sharma and others v. State of Punjab. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to file separate petitions on behalf of the petitioners, on the same cause of action with better particulars. 3.
