(Oral) This is a petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 (Old Section 482 Cr.P.C.) for quashing of the FIR No.003 dated 09.01.2026 (Annexure P-3) registered under Section 174-A of IPC, 1860 (Section 209 BNS, 2023) at Police Station Chhachhrauli, District Yamuna Nagar which was registered consequent to the order 10.09.2025 (Annexure P-2) passed by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Bilaspur declaring the petitioner as proclaimed person in a complaint case under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. 2. The brief facts of the case are that in discharge of his legal liability, the petitioner/accused issued a cheque No.000004 dated 07.08.2023 for an amount of Rs.50,000/- in favour of complainant.
