Through the instant writ petition, cast under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, a prayer is made for quashing of award dated 28.01.2008 (Annexure P-1), wherethrough, the reference was answered in favour of the respondent No.1/workman, and he was awarded the relief of reinstatement on his previous post with continuity of service and 50% back wages. 2. During the pendency of the instant writ petition, the respondent No.1/workman, was reinstated into the service, and now the only issue, which remains adjudication is with regard to back wages. 3.
