(ORAL) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 29.01.2026, Annexure P-7, wherein the petitioner’s candidature for the post of Assistant Professor (College Cadre) Geography, against advertisement 51/2024, has been rejected by the Commission. Further, a writ of mandamus has been sought directing the Commission to treat him eligible for the post in question. 2. Pursuant to the last order dated 10.04.2026, learned counsel for the Commission has produced the petitioner’s provisional selection result dated 15.05.2026, which is retained on the case file as Annexure ‘A’.
